Fallon O’Malley is hoping to make a fresh start in Southampton following the recent death of her grandmother. She’s never had any love for the British, but when she has the chance to make a fresh start in England and reconnect with estranged family, she decides to leave her beloved homeland of Ireland. It isn’t until she arrives that she realizes that she might have just made a grave mistake. In a desperate attempt to return where things are familiar, she seeks out the assistance of a known rapscallion…

Atticus Clare is a wealthy merchant by day, but by night he dons the guise of the Raven, an Irish sympathizer who assists the rebellion against England. Everything is working for his favor until he meets Fallon. He’s instantly drawn to her, even though he knows it would be dangerous in the extreme to form an attachment. But when unforeseen circumstances draw them closer, he realizes how foolish he’d been to think he could ever resist her allure.

As things culminate, Atticus has to make a difficult choice, but nothing he does might save him from certain demise if all his secrets are revealed. Can his love for Fallon truly conquer the forces against them?

Constance Freewater has lived almost two decades of her life as a celebrated courtesan known as Madame Corressa—a woman always living on the edge. As she approaches her fortieth birthday, she realizes that what used to be a fulfilling existence no longer holds any excitement for her. She’s tired of the empty sort of temporary passion that used to be enough. When she crosses paths with a mysterious gentleman who becomes intent on pursuing her, she is inexplicably drawn to him. But when circumstances alter their fate, she has to decide if she is prepared to be his mistress—or nothing at all.

Devin Blackmore had a hard life. Growing up with drunkards, scoundrels, and pickpockets on London’s city streets was a normal way of life. But one mistake was all it took for him to learn a harsh lesson. After spending five years in a penal colony, he returns to England determined not to succumb to his old ways. However, he never intended to meet such an enchanting woman as Constance, nor believe that she could make him a better man. But when a late-night attack leaves him fighting for his life, he realizes that he can’t escape his past. He doesn’t want to drag Constance into mire with him, but he finds out she’s not easily intimidated.

As hearts become entangled, they have to decide if what they feel for each other runs deeper than the demons of their past. Or is love even possible for these two, broken souls?

Harlan Mathis is a notorious highwayman, at least, as far as anyone is aware. The gentleman and his gang of revelers strike renewed fear into the heart of travelers on their way to London. In truth, Harlan is a privateer for the Crown, tasked with finding out who is responsible for the threat of rebellion that is causing current unrest. With the death of William IV and the recent advent of Queen Victoria to the throne, he has to ensure a smooth transition for the new monarchy. To do that, he has to put himself in jeopardy—and now he has a lovely captive, who might be a spy, that tempts him at every turn.

Miss Leah Lindquist was on her way to Birmingham to stay with her elder half-brother, a vicar, after the unfortunate passing of her aunt in France. She fears that once she arrived to stay with her new guardian, she will be forced into an unwanted union, so she isn’t entirely upset when her public coach is set upon and she is taken hostage by a mysterious, masked stranger. Neither does she intend to remain oblivious about what is going on around her. It isn’t long before she realizes that not all is as it seems and she is determined to assist in the cause.

As tensions rise in the country, and the heat between Leah and Harlan steadily mount, will they secure the ending that everyone is hopeful for, or will conspiracy and mutiny rule the day?
